5. Nuts – reduce inflammation

Nut intake is linked to decreased oxidative stress, insulin resistance, and inflammation as well as a lower incidence of fatty liver disease. A major study from China discovered that eating nuts on a regular basis is strongly associated with a lower incidence of NAFLD.

They are loaded with antioxidants, can lower cholesterol and triglyceride levels, contain a lot of fiber, help your brain focus, can help you lose weight, and they’re great for people who have been diagnosed with diabetes and metabolic syndrome.

…If you want to include more nuts into your diet and help your liver get healthier, combine them with Greek yogurt, bananas, and honey, and you’ll have a delicious breakfast!
