A study from 2021, for instance, discovered that people who consumed spinach on a regular basis lowered their risk of getting infected with NAFLD. These impressive results might be due to the high-quality nitrate and distinct polyphenols found in it.

What’s interesting about this study is that it was based on raw spinach consumption, as cooked spinach didn’t have the same great effects. Moreover, it is believed that cooked leafy greens don’t contain as many polyphenols and antioxidants as raw leafy greens, so if you want to keep your liver healthy and prevent fat buildup, you should consume as many raw leafy greens as possible.

…Add them to your salads or in your smoothies and you’ll be amazed by the benefits!

  1. You have ignored fatty liver disease caused by hemochromatosis.
NO greens allowed then, nothing with much iron. Yes, lots of fish, no red meat.
