#5 A Mole Is Changing Its Appearance

The aging process causes changes in our skin, but these changes aren’t always for the better when it comes to moles and other spots. Keep an eye out for any newly developed moles as well as any modifications to already-present moles or spots.

One of the early signs of melanoma is the appearance of a brand-new mole or spot or a modification in an already-existing freckle or mole. Changes might take weeks or months to manifest and can involve changes to size, shape, color, or border.

Other changes to keep an eye out for are itching, bleeding, oozing, or crusting; these are among the most alarming of all the warning symptoms of melanoma and must be taken seriously.
