Dandruff

Seborrhea is the medical term for common dandruff on the scalp. In certain situations, it might even show around the nose. Usually, it is treated with medicated shampoos or even prescription treatments.

However, even dandruff might indicate an underlying illness. Patients who suffer from or have a greater risk of having Parkinson’s disease or stroke might also get…severe seborrhea! Also, people who have the HIV virus might have an issue with excessive dandruff.

Acne

Breakouts are completely normal throughout adolescence, and in some cases, they might even persist into adulthood. On top of that, wearing a face mask might cause acne to flare up. However, pay attention, as new acne or severe acne that you’ve never seen before might show an underlying hormonal abnormality.

This goes even further if you have never had problems with acne before. You might have to check yourself because sudden acne could indicate ovarian syndrome (PCOS in women).
