Set a daily water goal for yourself!

Instead of just saying you will start to drink more water, you should actively work towards making it a daily goal so that you can build towards making it a habit. This is especially important if you are one of the people who barely drink a cup of water every day and need to truly step up their game.

Making upping your water intake part of your daily goals can be a motivator alongside other healthy changes you may want to make, and it can help you actively build a positive habit.

The best way in which you can be as effective as possible is to make the goal of upping your water intake smart (and this goes for any goal you may have). The word is an acronym for Specific Measurable Attainable Realistic Timebound. Which is just another way of saying that you need to be realistic when it comes to what you want to do!

If you’re just starting, it would be better to set your goal at only 32 ounces (which is just 4 cups) so that it doesn’t end up crushing your spirits when you can’t drink 8. This method will also help you keep track, and after a month, you can look at your improvement!
