Add some flavor to your water if you need it!
A lot of people find it hard to start drinking water because they cannot get used to the fact that it has no taste. This is especially common when you are swapping out soda with water or when you need to drink more water than you need to for medical reasons. And we get it—it can get boring just drinking plain water all the time! That is why you should add some flavor to it!
By flavor, we do not mean the new trend of adding syrup and other artificial powders to your water (since they are more often than not extremely sugary and full of preservatives and additives), but rather fruit! You can get a special water bottle with an infuser, or just make a bigger batch each morning and keep it in your fridge for a refreshing beverage! The most common and delicious combinations, and the ones we are most fond of, include lemon, cucumber, and lime; blueberries and raspberries; or strawberry kiwi!
There is also the other side of the coin! Indeed, there is such a thing as drinking too much water, and you may fall into this trap as well! Make sure you read about the signs of overhydration before you end up with other health problems because of them!
