How much your acupuncture sessions will cost can vary from anywhere between $75 to $200 for each session. Your first one, which involves an initial evaluation and assessment, might cost more than your next visit.
Whether or not your health insurance will cover some or all of the costs of your visits depends on the insurance company and the condition for which you want acupuncture treatment.
Medicare does cover acupuncture services up to 12 visits within a 90-day period if you suffer from chronic lower back pain only. Unfortunately, they won’t cover acupuncture for any other condition.
