Keep to the FIFO rule!

The FIFO rule is simple, and it stands for: first in, first out. And the way you apply it in order to keep veggies fresh for longer is to first make sure to keep track of all the fresh produce you have in your fridge, and then make a commitment to yourself that you are going to finish what you have already bought before you give in to a deal at the store or you impulsively buy more produce and justify that you will use all of it anyway.
