1. Smoking

Who would have thought about cigarettes before a blood test? Well, most smokers enjoy having a cigarette first thing in the morning or with a cup of coffee. However, if you’re going to give some urine samples or a blood test, it is very important to avoid smoking at all costs, at least 1 hour before the test!

  1. I’ve only heard of some of the suggestions when fasting was necessary. I was told for most tests you want things as normal as possible so they can see what your levels are under normal circumstances.
