Red Meat
Eating too much lamb, beef, and pork can increase your chances of getting diabetes or heart disease. This is because they’re all high in saturated fat, which can raise your cholesterol levels.
We’re not saying you should exclude red meat from your diet entirely. But try limiting your portions. Also, go for leaner cuts like sirloin, round, and extra-lean ground beef.
Pizza
We get it! We’re crying too. But when we asked the pros if the rumors about pizza were true, they didn’t hold back. They say that eating pizza is like you’re being destroyed by large amounts of three things. The crust is high in sodium and carbs.
And then, depending on the cheese you choose, that could have a fair amount of salt and fat in it too. Don’t even get us started on the sauce. And that’s not even taking into consideration whatever you want to put on it.
Of course, you CAN undo some of the damage by ordering a whole-wheat crust pizza with olive oil, goat cheese, and sliced tomatoes.
