3. Add in healthy fats

When it comes to fats, a lot of people believe that they are bad for your body. That’s a big lie! It’s true that saturated and trans fats should be avoided, but there are two types of healthy fats that are very good for you. Polyunsaturated and monosaturated fats are those that are good and widely known as “healthy fats” because they give you energy and keep your brain and heart healthy.

These healthy fats can be mostly found in fatty fish (like salmon and herring), nuts, extra virgin oil, cheese, avocados, and Greek yogurt. Ah, and I almost forgot to mention dark chocolate! But always look for those that have at least 80% cocoa, and don’t forget to eat them in moderation.
