Bell peppers keep for a long time in the freezer. Diced, strips or whole. I have had 1 in the freezer for about a month using a freezer container. Not a wrinkle on that baby.
A whole avocado in a container with water to the top will last a long time in the refrigerator as though you just bought it. Make sure you change the water periodically.
