Everyone had to go through the process of learning how to control their bladder, and it’s what we all went through with our children when we had to “potty train” them. It’s something that lets you live a normal life, and it’s important to know when you can and cannot go to the bathroom.
Yet, if you drink too much water, you run the risk of ruining this learned skill. If you’re overfilling your bladder with too much liquid or even holding in your urge to go to the bathroom for too long, you’re going to lose this skill. Not only can this end up creating more health problems in the long run, but it’s going to be inconvenient when you don’t know when you have to pee or you always feel like you have to go!
