10. Pancreatic Cancer

Pancreatic cancer develops when cells in your pancreas mutate and divide out of control, forming a tumor. The pancreas is a gland located in the abdomen, between your stomach and spine. It produces hormones that control enzymes and blood sugar levels that aid in digestion. Most pancreatic cancers begin in the ducts of the pancreas.

Signs include pain in your upper abdomen that may spread to your back; losing weight without trying; blood clots; depression; feeling exhausted or weak; jaundice, which is the yellowing of the skin and the whites of the eyes; and developing diabetes.

Pancreatic cancer doesn’t typically cause symptoms until the disease is advanced.
