Sitting for longer than 30 minutes
You probably know already that constant exercise is the answer to all your questions when it comes to health. However, what you probably missed is that sitting for long periods of time, whether at the computer, on the couch, or even behind the wheel, might come with a big risk.
Over 475,000 people participated in a study that was published in 2021 in Diabetes Care. They discovered that replacing 30 minutes a day of sedentary behavior with the easiest physical activity might be associated with a 6 to 31 percent reduced risk of type 2 diabetes.
