6. Your Hands and Feet Are Cold

Having colder hands and feet is quite common, and it doesn’t always indicate an underlying disease is causing it. However, if you’re always having cold hands and feet and you seem to be experiencing other related symptoms (such as your fingers changing color), then this may be a sign of anemia.

The reason is the same as why your skin may become paler: when you’re anemic, your body doesn’t have enough healthy red blood cells it needs. Iron helps these blood cells transmit nutrients and heat to the rest of your cells, so a deficiency makes you more prone to feeling cold.
