6. Citrus fruits
Mostly during the winter season, citrus fruits are my go-to snacks. Oranges and grapefruits are my favorites, but I also like lemons, which I usually use in teas to make them tastier. The three of them are abundant in antioxidants and vitamin C and can help you decrease inflammation and reduce bloating, especially after a substantial meal. Furthermore, it has been proven that daily consumption of citrus fruits is beneficial against high blood pressure and lowers the risk of having a stroke.
If you don’t like eating all these fruits raw, you can also squeeze them and drink at least 17 ounces of juice per day.
Did you know that in order to have a normal blood circulation, you must also stay hydrated? Dehydration can harm endothelial cells, increase inflammation, and decrease blood flow in your body.
