3. Walk regularly
Another way to prevent urinary incontinence is to make sure you take your daily steps throughout the day! And this applies to those individuals who are more sedentary than active. It’s true that if you have other conditions like heart disease, for example, you may develop fluid buildup in your legs. And unfortunately, you’ll “feel” them during the night when you visit your bathroom more often than you expected.
If you have this issue, try to make it a habit to walk more during the day. If walking is not an everyday option, try to do simple stretches, flex your calf muscles, and do a couple of squats.
