The best way to know if you need to drink some more is to make sure you know the different signals your body is sending you. Recognizing your sense of thirst is the best way to make sure you’re only drinking as much as you need and like, so you won’t run the risk of overhydration. Over centuries, our bodies evolved to fight against dehydration, so there’s no point where your body will not let you know that you need water.
The problem arises when you cannot read the cues and you end up drinking way too much water which can throw your whole body off course and cause you more problems than you should be dealing with!
