Egg-based breakfasts have been found to help overweight and obese people feel fuller for several hours after eating. Eight-week research that was based on 21 men concluded that people who ate three eggs as their first meal of the day had a 400-calorie reduction in their daily caloric intake.
And that is not all. They also discovered that the subjects had a 16% greater reduction in body fat than those who only had a bagel for breakfast. Due to the high-quality protein it contains, this delicious fat-burning food can raise your metabolic rate by roughly 20–35% for several hours after eating.
