6. Pain and discomfort
As we said before, after you get an implant, you should not feel any pain. Your interventions should feel like your real ones. At first, when you are still in the healing process, it is normal to feel some pain. But after you are healed, this should never happen again. If this happens, it might be a sign of dental implant failure.
If the pain comes in throbbing waves, is causing you a lot of discomfort, and is not going away even if you take painkillers, go to your doctor because something is wrong. It is better to get checked up before it is too late. It might be inflammation or an infection, but you should know for sure and get the best treatment.
