Seniors suffer from baldness more often than young people
This belief is false, and there is strong evidence to back this up. The American Hair Loss Association states that by the age of 35, 66% of American men will have some kind of male pattern baldness, and by the age of 50, around 85% of men will have noticeably thinning hair.
Many times when we think about hair loss and baldness, we think about old age, but then there are a lot of young men in their 20s and 30s who are already bald. Male pattern baldness doesn’t depend on age; it is genetic, and most of the time it starts to affect people who are in their early 20s.
