Especially during the cold season, you can come down with a virus and fight it off, only to catch an entirely new cold after that. The new virus and its symptoms can blend with the ones you just dealt with, making it seem like one long illness.
You may think that your immune system gets stronger after a cold, but this is only partially true. It is indeed better equipped to keep the same virus at bay, but there are hundreds of viruses that can cause a cold. As we mentioned before, it’s common to get more than one cold in a given year, and this is often the case with kids.
