#8 Increased appetite

When blood glucose levels remain unusually high (hyperglycemia), they prevent the body from converting the food you eat into energy. Hunger levels increase as a result of this lack of energy.

People with uncontrolled diabetes who feel always hungry cannot simply eat their way out of it because doing so will raise their blood glucose levels even higher. Exercise can help to stimulate the synthesis of insulin and lower blood sugar levels, making it the greatest strategy to decrease blood glucose levels.

Additionally, abnormally low blood sugar levels (hyperglycemia) can also contribute to increased appetite. When your blood sugar falls underneath the 80 to 70 mg/dL range, the sugar craving typically begins to set in, and you become hungry.
