Freeze your homemade stock into cubes.

Access to small portions of homemade broth and stock can be a real timesaver. Adding just a cup or a couple of tablespoons to a recipe is complicated if stored in one big container.

Instead, freeze the stock in ice cube trays and store it in plastic storage bags for easier use anytime, no matter how much or little your recipe calls for.

Freeze seasonal produce.

Fresh produce is more affordable and has the most flavor and nutrition when it’s in season.

We highly recommend following our food storage tip of taking the time to freeze your fruits and veggies properly to save some extra money during colder months when prices on produce tend to increase.
