Carl’s Jr. Monster Biscuit

Only one biscuit has 850 calories, 61 g of fat, 365 mg of cholesterol, 2,380 mg of sodium, 46 g of carbs, and 31 g of protein. We understand why this Monster Biscuit might seem tempting, especially if you have to hit the road really quickly and you don’t have time for breakfast.

Even if this biscuit has sausage, bacon, cheese, and eggs, it also has half of a day’s worth of calories and a lot of fat in every serving. Plus, the salt content of such a biscuit sandwich is way more than the FDA recommendation of sodium content you should have in a day.

Oh, and did I mention the bacon in it? Because it takes the whole biscuit to another monster-level of unhealthy.

  1. Thank you for educating us with what type of breakfast we should not exact. Can you then advise what type of breakfast is good for commuters to have? Thank you.

  2. I’ve never had any of that stuff, in fact it never entered my mind to try any of that stuff, I’ll just continue with my tea in the morning. Have a nice day.🍀👍🏼🍀

  3. these days all nutritionist people can talk about is calories. I do not need to lose weight but i do have restrictions on saturated fat, salt, sugar and cholesterol as i have cholesterol problems. fast food places are allowed to sell nearly toxic levels of these ingredients and nobody prints health warnings for these. even in your article you don’t tell the saturated fat amounts, all fat is not bad. saturated fat daily limit is about 20g a day, most breakfast foods have more than that and some a lot more than that. if you want to do an article on food , do one that can actually help people. most people eating these terrible biscuits and etc. don’t know how bad these foods are. you have a chance to help , please do.
