Metastasis is the most lethal component of cancer, and it is caused by a series of interconnected processes such as cell reproduction, angiogenesis, cell adhesion, migration, and infiltration into surrounding tissue. Because metastasis is the leading cause of mortality in patients who suffer from this disease, it’s one of the most significant topics in cancer research right now.

Green tea drinking has been linked to a reduction in the risk of developing this disease in several clinical and epidemiological studies. Green tea includes a variety of polyphenolic chemicals, including epigallocatechin-3-gallate, which has been proven to suppress tumor invasion and angiogenesis, both of which are necessary for tumor growth and spread.

The antioxidant EGCG looks to be the most powerful of all the catechins, with anticancer effects that are 25–100 times stronger than vitamins C and E! EGCG has been associated to the modification of numerous signaling pathways, ultimately leading to the suppression of production of proteins implicated in cancer cell invasiveness.

You might want to try out this tea, often recommended by experts due to it’s anticancer properties. Consumption of 1 to 12 ounces is suggested in order to see results.
