Dunkin’ Glazed Jelly Stick

One glazed jelly stick has 540 calories, 30 g of fat, 30 mg of cholesterol, 430 mg of sodium, 66 g of carbs, and 4 g of protein. Let’s be honest: there are few breakfast options out there that are as packed in sugar and fat as donuts are.

These donuts are simply calorie bombs, and they have the power to undo any kind of weight loss progress you might have achieved. “Donuts are made with highly processed flour, cooked in a ton of oil, and have a lot of added sugar.”

Blanca Garcia, RDN at Health Canal explained. “Sugar on top of sugar, on top of fat is just…carbs and fat.” These Dunkin’s Glazed Jelly Sticks are seen as the absolute worst out there, because of their whopping 66 grams of carbs.

  1. Thank you for educating us with what type of breakfast we should not exact. Can you then advise what type of breakfast is good for commuters to have? Thank you.

  2. I’ve never had any of that stuff, in fact it never entered my mind to try any of that stuff, I’ll just continue with my tea in the morning. Have a nice day.🍀👍🏼🍀

  3. these days all nutritionist people can talk about is calories. I do not need to lose weight but i do have restrictions on saturated fat, salt, sugar and cholesterol as i have cholesterol problems. fast food places are allowed to sell nearly toxic levels of these ingredients and nobody prints health warnings for these. even in your article you don’t tell the saturated fat amounts, all fat is not bad. saturated fat daily limit is about 20g a day, most breakfast foods have more than that and some a lot more than that. if you want to do an article on food , do one that can actually help people. most people eating these terrible biscuits and etc. don’t know how bad these foods are. you have a chance to help , please do.
