2. Blisters
Although it is a very rare condition, it is possible. However, blisters can also suddenly appear on the skin of people with diabetes.
These blisters can appear singly or in large numbers, but usually, a single large blister appears. It has been observed that the areas where they appear are the extremities, specifically on the forearms or on the back of the hands, or on the legs, specifically on the calves.
What differentiates these blisters from those caused by burns, although they resemble them, is the fact that they are not painful. This condition is known as bullosis diabetricorum or diabetic bullae.
