High concentrations of calcium in the bloodstream can cause confusion and irritability, along with the more common constipation, feeling thirsty or sick, or giving you the sensation of muddling, drowsiness, or extreme fatigue. In more extreme cases, it can cause affected patients to lose consciousness!
